Do you think athletes on professional sports teams give 100% effort on the job every game? I doubt that they do because it is not very possible. Let me ask you something. Do we even give 100% effort in our own jobs? I also doubt that we do because it will cause us to burn out.

I don’t know where it all started, but most of the world works from 9am-5pm. Who in the world ever came up with that concept? Does he think that everyone in this world needs 8 hours to complete all their work?  (more…)

Vilfredo Pareto was a French-Italian economist and philosopher that lived in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. He made several important contributions in economics, especially in his studies of income distribution among individuals. His most famous concept is the Pareto principle of economics.

The Pareto principle, known famously as the 80-20 rule, states that, for any kind of event, 80% of the effects comes from 20% of the causes. (more…)
