Many have heard of the terms Law of Attraction or Universal Laws of Attraction thanks to the mainstream media that we have today. However, not many people know that these laws have been studied and passed down since ancient time. There are people that are aware of what the law of attraction is and how to make it work while others don’t know what it is at all or how to benefit from it.

Two reasons that prevent law of attraction practitioners from being successful at using the techniques are 1) the are not sure whether to believe in the power of the laws or 2) they believe in the power of the laws, but they don’t know how to use it correctly. Law practitioners are at an advantageous time of their lives because now is the perfect time to learn and discover the power and secrets behind the law and how to take advantage of amazing potential greatness.

You may be asking what is the universal law of attraction? The universal portion means that it applies to everyone. The law of attraction goes beyond race, gender, religion and personal problems. It will never single out which person it wants to work with.

The law of attraction means that what you think of, you will get. The saying like begets like is a terrific description of what the power of the law of attraction can do for you. This is not just hype or plain craziness as it is confirmed in the mainstream by famous celebrities such as Oprah.

So how do you get the law of attraction to work for you? It starts with positive thinking. You always tell yourself that you are the luckiest person on the planet. Then you go even deeper than that by visualizing what it is that you want. You must use all five senses to describe your deepest desires. What is the color of that car that you want? How does it smell? What does it feel like sitting in the driver’s seat? Then you have to go even deeper than that by affirming the present. What this means is that you are visualizing that this is happening to you at this very moment. When you enter this deep state of thought, your subconscious mind will start to make your thoughts turn into real facts.

A majority of practitioners fail with the law of attraction because they have doubts that it will work. Even the slightest of doubts will decrease the effectiveness of the entire process. To get amazing results, you need to get rid of all your negative thoughts in order for this to work. This is the most important strategy that you need to remember when applying the steps. When you do, you will be well on your way to mastering the law of attraction.

Perhaps you’ve viewed the extremely hailed 2006 movie, “The Secret”, and attempted to act on it to a “T”, only to find out that it’s a lot more difficult than they make it appear-or the law of attraction just doesn’t bring about period. Well, I’m here to notify you that the law of attraction does produce, as long as you learn to apply the law of attraction the proper way. This article attempts to tell you what they “left out” of The Secret.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is in regards to manifesting otherwise known as attracting) your needs (the things you want-whether it be material goods or emotional things such as a relationship) into your life. The law of attraction is constructed on the premise that what you think and focus upon the most, is ultimately what you will bring into your life.

It goes much deeper than that; however, but that is the primary principle of it. In order for any of this to work, you must make sure to focus on the things you want, and to believe in those things much more than the things you don’t want-especially those things that negate the things you do want.

So if you’re in debt and can’t currently make your payments and you want to attract riches into your life… refrain from worrying about those bills and focus that force into thinking about being wealthy (just an example). Of course, if you’ve watched ‘The Secret’ (2006), you already are familiar that part.

What Was Excluded From ‘The Secret’?

The 2006 film, The Secret, was great and would have been near perfect if it didn’t omit a few of the most pertinent details regarding the Law of Attraction. The movie got you in the right mood for not only readying your mind to attract your desires, but also for “radiating” the right force for manifesting what you desire into your life.

What the movie didn’t do was tell you that in order to have what you are bestowed, you must take it. In other words, you need to act on it when chances arise. For example, if you were planning to attract wealth into your life, you’d have to follow through with the opportunities and “action steps” that show themselves to you before that can even occur.

So now that you can tell what the law of attraction is, the most vital thing to remember now is that, once you have readied your mind and have gotten familiar with focusing mostly on what you desire, and not what you don’t desire… it is really up to you to take action on the things that are attracted into your life. Number 1: Make sure you smile at the new person. It is often the first type of contact you have with a person. It is a very powerful form of non-verbal communication. Smiles are free, easy to do and can lead you naturally to a conversation.

Number 2: Make good eye contact. This is another powerful form of non-verbal communication. There is a saying that “The eyes are the windows to a person’s soul.” Holding eye contact is a sign of confidence so don’t look at the floor right after looking into her eyes. Doing so will make you look shy or disinterested.

Number 3: Speak up and say “hello.” Do you remember when you were a child and your parents told you not to speak until you are spoken to? Hopefully everyone doesn’t follow that rule. If they did, then we would live in a really silent world. Go ahead, break that rule when it comes to meeting a new person.

Number 4: Use a firm handshake when meeting someone new. Just be sure not to squeeze their hand so tight that he or she will end up with broken bones. If so, then watch out because you’ll never get another chance to make a good first impression

Number 5: Go to places that have the kinds of people you want to attract. If you want to meet other professionals, then join a professional organization. If you love hiking, then join a local hiking club. If you want to meet people with similar morals, beliefs, and values, try a church, synagogue or temple. The key is to put yourself out there in places have the same people that you are interested in. Remember, it is hard to attract new people when you are lounging around all alone at home watching reruns of American Idol.

Number 6: Dress the same as the people you want to attract. If you want to attract new customers, then you will need to dress like a businessman. Completely outfit yourself with a suit and tie. If you want to meet someone that is conservative, then do not wear something that is flashy or revealing. If you want to attract the 1960’s hippie crowd, then by all means, dress like one! The goal is to dress similar to the people that you want to meet

Number 7: Be honest, be positive and be brief. There is nothing that builds trust faster than being honest with the person that you have met for the first time. Don’t lie and tell them that you drive a Ferrari 450 when you really drive a 10 year old beat up car. Be positive because others like to spend time with these types of people as opposed to the negative thinking types. It’s all in the attitude! So don’t start off and tell them how much you hate your ex-girlfriend. Be brief, that way you have plenty of time for number 8

Number 8: Listen up to your new acquaintance! Everyone in society has this desire to feel significant. The easiest way to show someone that you are interested in them is to listen to what they have to say

Number 9: Be happy and content with everything that is going on in your life. When you are cheerful, it will show in your interactions with others. This will communicate an attractive positive attitude to others

Number 10: Be the type of person that you want to attract. There is a saying that “like attracts like.” If you are looking for open and honest people, then be open and honest yourself. If you want to attract someone who is athletic and has a fit lifestyle, be in shape and have a fit lifestyle yourself

By following these 10 tips, you will be well on your way to attracting new people into your life.

For example, let’s pretend that you have saved up 10,000 dollars. Your monthly expenses are 1,000 dollars. If you had stopped working today, 10,000 dollars of savings divided by 1,000 dollars per month expenses means that you are wealthy for 10mths. You are free to enjoy your 10 months any way you want it. You can spend it with friends, family or travel. Time is what many people don’t have these days, so it is ideal to work to create that “free time”.

So how do we accomplish the feat of being wealthy? You do this by changing your entire mind set. Just follow these 7 steps.

1) You have to take some time to think about what your beliefs are in regards to wealth, money, poverty, rich people, spending money and material possessions. Do you believe that there is NOT enough money or too much money in this world? Do you think rich people are greedy? Are you a spendthrift or a saver? Do you believe that poor people are poor because they misused their money? Do you want to own the 13 bedroom home or have your own private jet?

2) Accept the truth that wealth is yours. It always has been and always will be. Remember that you are the creator of your own world. Being wealthy is a matter of perspective. The law of attraction governs the flow of money. Not only does love attract love, but wealth attracts wealth and misery attracts misery. The law of attraction is the reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. 

3) Clear yourself of the blockages to wealth. What is it that is keeping you from obtaining the wealth that you dream about? Do you fear that your business will fail? Would you rather work for the money instead of find ways to create it? Do you believe it is too much hard work to get to your desired wealth? Or do you just believe that destiny/fate will not let you have it in this lifetime?

4) Be willing to accept being wealthy, prosperous and satisfied. Be eager to have what you want and dream about. You deserve to experience the finer things in life. There is definitely nothing evil or immoral about living the good life. There is an abundance of resources everywhere. You don’t have to keep believing that you were meant to live your suffering life in poverty and sacrifice. It’s all in your mindset.

5) Take risks in your quest to be wealthy. Set goals that are beyond you. You may think that some goals are impossible to reach. However, you will find that your talents, skills, abilities, vision and the Law of Attraction will guide you to make it happen. Go out there and try. If you never take any steps toward your goals, you will always be stuck in the same place.

6) Let go of the resentment you feel toward wealthy people and others who have what you desire. You have to let go of all the anger, envy and jealousy you have against them. You want to think of positive thoughts only because the Law of Attraction will not let you have what you resent in others.

7) Make the commitment to life by investing your ideas, effort, time, talent and love into it. There is another truth to life in that you get what you give. In order to receive, you have to start giving. If you want to experience the full life but you don’t contribute, then you won’t have what you deeply desire.

When I talk about contributing, I don’t mean giving money away to every homeless person you see on the street. There are other ways you can contribute. You can give by volunteering at a nursing home, teaching kids the fundamentals of baseball, tutoring kids in different school subjects or holding the door for a wheelchair bound person.

One more point I want to make about the commitment to life is that you shouldn’t give just to get. To my knowledge, life doesn’t use a brownie point scale. That means your wants and desires don’t have a prize scale. Life doesn’t say that for every 2,000 contributions to life, you get a million dollars. You just have to give from the heart without having any expectations in return. Life will take care of that part for you.

The Law of Attraction has been referred to in many different ways throughout life. You may have heard of some them such as: You get what you give, like attracts like, what goes around comes around or you reap what you sow. The book explains the Law of Attraction as like attracts like. What you radiate outward in your thoughts, feelings, mental pictures and words you attract into your life. What can the Law of Attraction do for you? When you are focused upon what YOU WANT to create in your life, you will attract that. When you are focused upon what you DON’T WANT to create in your life, you will attract that too. The concept is similar to a magnet.

Have you ever had that experience in your life where you wanted something very badly, and out of that passion and pure desire, you were able to create it? You had that feeling of being unstoppable. You believed that it was meant to be and had no doubts that it was going to come into your life.

Have you also ever had that experience in your life where you have wanted something very badly, and have not been able to create it? If all you think that there isn’t enough money in the world, that’s what will happen to you. If you think that there is plenty of money in the world, then that becomes your reality.

But wait, how come the flow of money that I want to create isn’t coming into my life? It is because you are probably radiating the negative things that are associated with it. I hate paying bills, I hate my neighbors that have more money than I do or money is evil. You may also be focusing too much on not having enough money. If you think those negative thoughts, than you will create more of what you don’t have.

The big secret to the Law of Attraction is to focus on feeling good and on the things that you DO want. The important point to remember is that you attract what you radiate and vibrate into the world. The big key to being successful with the Law of Attraction is the way you are feeling and where your attention is.

Another important point is that you must remember that the universe is always abundant. It is only our perception that there is a lack of resources. Once you remember that there is always enough you will be given everything that you ask for. Everyone should know that they were meant to prosper and be wealthy on all levels of life. Nothing is impossible in life. If it can be dreamed up, it can happen.

You can be, do or have anything that you desire in this life. You just have to believe in yourself as a powerful creator. You have to choose the right thoughts and feelings that make you feel good and the Law of Attraction will take care of the rest.
