We need to read a lot, listen to the people who succeed and learn from the mistake of others who failed. Learning is a continuous process and we don’t settle on our own understanding of things. Our mind had the biggest memory capacity to store data. We just need to maximize it. The benefits or reading, the pointers from people who succeed and the experiences of people who failed are very vital in our own success. It motivates us to run in the path of those who succeed and encourage us to do better than those who failed. Our brains are the captain of our souls. It will navigate us to the finish line.</p>

<p>The runner trains himself first before joining the marathon to learn the right way of running. In our everyday lives, we also have our trainings. We strive to achieve smaller goals like meeting deadlines or losing a couple of pounds. With these achievements, we learned to commit.</p>

Whether it is bad or good, you cannot help but to be affected. Of course you take pride for your good work but when you fail to meet expectation, you should also prepare yourself to receive criticism.</p>
<p>How do you react if you heard bad criticism? Are you going to cry to get sympathy or you let your emotions cloud your mind and attack the person by talking back? The urge to defend your selves is understandable but to foolishly reciprocate the criticism is unacceptable. You are usually criticized by your relatives, bosses, colleagues and close friends and it’s like burning bridges if you tried to attack them back. You of course don’t want to ruin your relationship with them.</p>
<p>So, what do you need to do when you receive bad criticism?</p>
<h3>Listen.</h3>
<p>Do you just ignore bad criticism and turn away? True, in some situations it is better to backed off and let it pass however it doesn’t apply on this one. It is not very wisely to turn your back and walk away, Why? Because you would miss the opportunity to hear others point of view.</p>
<p>Let them speak and don’t interrupt them when you think you heard enough. You need to pause and just let them finish. When they&#8217;re done and you feel you want to explode and defend yourself, stop!  Breathe. Acknowledge their comment by saying thank you and politely ask them why they end up to that judgment.</p>
<p>In doing that you give dignity not only to yourself but also to the person you are talking to.</p>
<h3>Learn.</h3>
<p>After all the negativity, find time to reflect on it. You can play it back on your mind, though you need not to focus on their bad remarks instead search for key points you may find helpful. For example, your boss may hurt your feelings when your presentation had been rejected. But because you listen to his remarks, you learned the reason why you failed to please him.</p>
<p>All the misdoings and unfortunate occurrence in our life cannot be undone. You just need to learn from it and you’ll become wiser. You can make the most of any bad situations and always look on the brighter side.</p>
<h3>Let go… Let’s Go!</h3>
<p>You don’t have to sulk in. You have to let go of the resentment you feel towards the person who hurt your feelings. It will do you no good if you continue feeling bad for yourself. Move forward and bring with you the things you’ve learned from that experience.</p>
<p>These steps are easier said than done. But if you practice it every time you receive bad criticism, you’ll find yourself better than the one who criticize you.</p>

<p>Many have heard of the terms Law of Attraction or Universal Laws of Attraction thanks to the mainstream media that we have today. However, not many people know that these laws have been studied and passed down since ancient time. There are people that are aware of what the law of attraction is and how to make it work while others don&#8217;t know what it is at all or how to benefit from it.</p>
<p>Two reasons that prevent law of attraction practitioners from being successful at using the techniques are 1) the are not sure whether to believe in the power of the laws or 2) they believe in the power of the laws, but they don&#8217;t know how to use it correctly. Law practitioners are at an advantageous time of their lives because now is the perfect time to learn and discover the power and secrets behind the law and how to take advantage of amazing potential greatness.</p>
<p>You may be asking what is the universal law of attraction? The universal portion means that it applies to everyone. The law of attraction goes beyond race, gender, religion and personal problems. It will never single out which person it wants to work with.</p>
<p>The law of attraction means that what you think of, you will get. The saying like begets like is a terrific description of what the power of the law of attraction can do for you. This is not just hype or plain craziness as it is confirmed in the mainstream by famous celebrities such as Oprah.</p>
<p>So how do you get the law of attraction to work for you? It starts with positive thinking. You always tell yourself that you are the luckiest person on the planet. Then you go even deeper than that by visualizing what it is that you want. You must use all five senses to describe your deepest desires. What is the color of that car that you want? How does it smell? What does it feel like sitting in the driver&#8217;s seat? Then you have to go even deeper than that by affirming the present. What this means is that you are visualizing that this is happening to you at this very moment. When you enter this deep state of thought, your subconscious mind will start to make your thoughts turn into real facts.</p>
<p>A majority of practitioners fail with the law of attraction because they have doubts that it will work. Even the slightest of doubts will decrease the effectiveness of the entire process. To get amazing results, you need to get rid of all your negative thoughts in order for this to work. This is the most important strategy that you need to remember when applying the steps. When you do, you will be well on your way to mastering the law of attraction.</p>

<p>The 2006 film, The Secret, was great and would have been near perfect if it didn&#8217;t omit a few of the most pertinent details regarding the Law of Attraction. The movie got you in the right mood for not only readying your mind to attract your desires, but also for &#8220;radiating&#8221; the right force for manifesting what you desire into your life.</p>
<p>What the movie didn&#8217;t do was tell you that in order to have what you are bestowed, you must take it. In other words, you need to act on it when chances arise. For example, if you were planning to attract wealth into your life, you&#8217;d have to follow through with the opportunities and &#8220;action steps&#8221; that show themselves to you before that can even occur.</p>

<p>Here are great tips to help keep the older generation safe. <span id="more-54"></span>Believe me, preventing them from getting injured will save you from a big headache. My 91 year old grandma fell from the stairs and broke her ankle. It was difficult to wheelchair her into the restroom and put her to bed.</p>
<p>strong&gt;1) Install double railways along staircases so that they may assist the elderly going up and down.</p>
<p>strong&gt;2) Make sure that you clear out the floors and hallways of your home. They can be cluttered with hazards such as electrical cords, toys, slippery rugs or other items.</p>
<p><strong>3)</strong> The older generation has a decreased sense of vision. Make it up to them by installing extra lighting in your home.</p>
<p><strong>4)</strong> Install safety bars or a bench in the bathtub. The ideal scenario would be to have both types.</p>
<p><strong>5)</strong> Be sure that the temperature setting of the water heater is lower. You will prevent scalding from hot water because many elderly people have a decreased sense of touch and will not realize that they are getting burned.</p>
<p>By using these 5 guidelines, you can prevent the elderly from getting injured. An ounce of prevention goes a long way for them. That way, you can save yourself from the big headache that comes with caring for the elderly.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How cool would it be if you grew up with someone rich and famous like Bill Gates and he owed you a big favor? What if this was a favor that you remembered by keeping score? I think that many of you would agree that it is a very tempting proposition. The honest truth is that thinking in terms of keeping score will essentially lead you to disappointment in many aspects of your life.</p>
<p>The world is filled with people whose attitude is nothing more than “I owe you and you owe me.” You have most likely known someone in your life that lives on favors. It isn’t hard for you to figure out that someone is tallying up a total. The best way to live life is to recognize that success is gained by giving without keeping score. Keeping score will ultimately lead to failure in life. <span id="more-53"></span></p>
<p>Almost everyone on this planet has been guilty for keeping score. You may have even done so on a small scale. Let me give two examples that many of you can relate to. Have you ever been to lunch with a group of six friends and for some reason one person of the group always cheats the others when the bill comes? Then you exclude that person from the next lunch because you paid more than your fair share. How about the time your friends didn’t invite you to a party and you didn’t invite them to the next one just get back at them?</p>
<p>So what are the two lessons that you should learn from keeping score? The <strong>first lesson</strong> here is to let go of the scorekeeper in you. Relationships, whether they are friends, acquaintances, business contacts or romance, grow when you give without expecting anything back. The most important thing you need to know is that what you give you get back. You may not get what you really want now, but the first thing that comes back to you is that you get the reward of having done something good for someone.</p>
<p><strong>Lesson number two</strong> is to make it your lifestyle to give. Giving is the key that builds real relationships, not delivering and expecting payments. Once it becomes natural to you, you will find out that you will become more successful along with your friends and contacts. You will also get to set free the obsession of scorekeeping.</p>
<p><strong>So how can you start to make giving your lifestyle</strong>? It’s really all a mental approach. Try this exercise out. Begin by closing your eyes, relaxing and taking deep breaths while imagining that you no longer keep score. Now start to visualize how you might feel in your relationships, your work and your friendships without keeping score. Are you beginning to feel peaceful and sound? This is how life will feel like without all that stress. It&#8217;s just easier not to keep score.</p>
<p>Just because you stopped keeping score doesn’t mean that you should let yourself be taken advantage of. When you give, don’t give because you have to. Just do the things that make you feel truly good inside. Just try it for a while and then decide for yourself if this change in mindset has helped to enhance your life.</p>
<p>Don’t be afraid to stop scorekeeping. You will never run out of things to give. Go right ahead and spend a week or even a day giving without expectation. Enjoy the good feeling that comes with your charity. In the end, the positive karma will make your life even better than you have it now.</p>
