Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Do you think athletes on professional sports teams give 100% effort on the job every game? I doubt that they do because it is not very possible. Let me ask you something. Do we even give 100% effort in our own jobs? I also doubt that we do because it will cause us to burn out.

I don’t know where it all started, but most of the world works from 9am-5pm. Who in the world ever came up with that concept? Does he think that everyone in this world needs 8 hours to complete all their work?  (more…)

You And The Law of Attraction

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

The book “the Secret” and the accompanying DVD have been out for awhile now. For some reason, it is still a wild, talked about topic. Radio shows, TV shows and my neighbor still can’t stop talking about it. I am writing this to test out the principles in the book. Nice Guys Finish Last? Yes! How Not Be One.

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

Nice guys finish last. This is as true of a statement than any theory mankind has ever come up with. Nice guys finish last is up there in the same class as E=mc2, three sides to every triangle (DUH!) and the rich get richer. It is so true that even Green Day wrote a song about it. Yours truly was the typical nice guy that women would only see as “A friend.” Hearing “Let’s just be friends” was even worse of a feeling then my mom telling me, “You’re grounded!” (more…)

Time Management For The Busy Bee

Allright, I admit that I say “I don’t have time to do that” more than Wendy’s says “Where’s the beef?” Time management is a huge problem for many people these days. Were talking about people that range from CEOs to students, garbage collectors to couch potatoes and security guards to bank tellers. My friends always tell me that there are never enough hours in a day.
